Intown Photography focuses on couples, we tell each of our couples’ stories through engagement, wedding, and anniversary photos. We also shoot birthdays and new borns. Position Summary  

We are seeking for a committed, enthusiastic, and a sharpy focused Video Assistant whose primary responsibility would include aiding the cinematography and video production team. The Assistant Video Editor Programmer would assist the senior videographers and editors in streamlining the verification of assets and in the timely completion of the video shoot file quality of more than 5 to 10 minutes edited raw footage.

Duties and Responsibilities  

• During wedding, pre-wedding, and events, Assist videographers.  
• Set up and operate video production equipment including and not limited to (cameras, gimbals, lights, audio, etc.).  
• Capture B roll footage, track the B roll of the timelapse, and supporting shots.  
• Ensure file archiving, file management, media, and data backup.  
• Assist in the initial video sync and edit: audio rough cutting.  
• Carry out the equipment checklist items: cleanliness, safety, shoot readiness.  
• Assist the photography team to synchronize the video & photo parts to the footage.  
• Develop creative concepts for reels, trailers, and highlight videos, and assist in primary editing.

Skills & Requirements  

• Some understanding of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, gimbals, and basic illumination devices anchor lights, light sources, and reflection shields.
• Knowledge of video formats, value, and frame ratios, as well as handling the files.
• Familiarity with editing applications such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Davinci Resolve (preferred).
• Demonstrated excellent planning and prioritization capabilities.
• Capacity to maintain focus and endure long hours in the context of wedding events.
• Demonstrated interest in visual storytelling and the discipline of creative learning.
